Choose 32 assorted fat quarters of ‘30s prints or brushed plaid fabrics to make this 42" x 60" soft, puffy “biscuit” quilt with raggy seams. The biscuit look is achieved by using extra-loft batting and making tiny tucks in the slightly larger top square of fabric. Sew the squares with back sides together, clip the seams, then wash and dry to fluff the seams. Step-by-step instructions included for a matching 16" pillow with velcro closure and a 17-1/2" x 21" doll quilt made from scraps. Easy enough for beginning quilters. P101 . . . . . . . . Free PDF File
