The drafting charts will help in choosing the best graph paper for drafting your quilt blocks. They include decimal to fraction conversion charts and charts for 15 different grid sizes for finished blocks ranging from 1" to 16" and unit sizes ranging from 1/2" to 8".
Print the grid sheets on vellum paper or inkjet transparencies and place them over drawings in block books to find the number of units across. They are sized at 2" and will also work for some 1" blocks by placing 1/4 of the grid over the block. If the grids need to be a different size, resize in the Print Dialog box before printing. Make sure Do Not Scale or 100% is checked in the Print Dialog box if you are printing them at the 2" scale.
